ANALOG; Lomography 400

I have lots of new films to share with you and plan to get to them soon, but one that I shot recently was a bit different from the BNW films I have been shooting. This time I used Lomography 400. After seeing images of the film online and falling for the colors the film produced, I decided to try one out for myself and see how the Nikon FM2 handled it. The results are very pleasing and better than I anticpated. A few of the shots didnt work out quite like I expected, but hey, thats the fun of film!

I love the bright, rich colors and contrasted feel to this film. Color is something that I am still working to discover in what I like from film and how it works for me and since there are many to choose from, my work is cut out for me.  I have some Portra and Cinestill waiting to shoot, but for an everyday type of film, this one works well. Althouhg, I think a portrait or planned session with this film could be very interesting under the right conditions and light.

As a matter of fact, I just picked up a little Olympus LF-1 that I loaded with some Lomography 100 for the Easter weekend and bright sunny days ahead.  Kind of excited by this little point and shoot and you can expect images in the next week or so.

Thank you for stopping by! Enjoy!
